This short collection of songs are based on the use of drum machines from the 80′s. Roland, Casio, and Linn drum machines all work in concert to create this sexy masterpiece. This EP still maintains the melodic and funky elements that are a classic part of the DJ Assault brand. Along with more catchy phrases in the form of original vocal samples, this release takes on a soulful feeling. “I Think Of U” is definitely a club and cross over delight. The use of the commercialized “Auto Tune” effect on vocals is a bit over used and old. But, the creative nature in which “Auto Tune” was used in this track can be appreciated for it’s commercial appeal in a non-commercialized genre. There’s a ton of surprisingly interesting details that a listeners will notice over several plays of this short collection of music.

Back by popular demand is the return of the 2001 hits “Yo Relatives and Love The Pussy”.  Stolen from “Jefferson Ave.”  the album, these tracks were available for a short time on Intuit-Solar.  But the highlight of this record is the new track “Livin’ The (Good Life)  An uplifting ghetto house track that keeps the club dance floor packed.  The heavy influence of guitars give this tune a accelerated funky feel.  The last of the content on this E.P. features the track “Say My Name” A  phat track with a ghetto house feel.  Of course the classic DJ Assault chat style is back letting all the chicks know bitch say my name.

This E.P. contains 1 of the tracks that highlights the Belle Isle Tech 2 album. “No Bra, No Panties” is a smoothed out sound with the perfect mixture of R&B with house. Thick rich chords and pads keep you hypnotized by the melody. “Let’s Go” is a another Accelerated Funk asset of the Belle Isle Tech 2 release. The track is very very funky and the synths are just out of control. It’s like nothing heard before. You will also notice a very unique drum sound in the mix of things. “Mo Gutt Than Butt” is a brand new comedy track for a movie you would think. But, Assault is up to his old antics once again. These lyrics are so hilarious and the bass will shake the floor to the point it sounds like an earthquake.
